Elaine Bell, who has worked countless events and fundraisers as an in-demand caterer, steps out of the kitchen and into the spotlight as the honoree of the Sonoma Community Center’s MUSE gala. The award goes annually to a local figure who makes the Sonoma Valley vibrant and creative.
Bell, shown above with a tribute sculpture by Cynthia Hipkiss, “embodies everything that makes the Sonoma Valley so special: deep generosity, a passion for creating unforgettable food-and-wine experiences, and a creative side to everything she does,” said Charlotte Hajer, SCC executive director.
The August 13 event raised over $230,000 for the center.
