Larson Winery hosts Canine Costume Contest

Posted on October 14, 2022 by Sonoma Valley Sun

It’s scary how cute these dogs are! Larson Family Winery resident Wine Dogs welcome their costumed counterparts on Sunday, October 30 for the annual Canine Costume Contest.

Have a howlin’-good Halloween with prizes for best doggie duds and enjoy the parade showcasing everyone’s costumes. Families are encouraged to dress up to complement their dog’s costumes – 2020’s winning family all came dressed as the Ghostbusters!

This year’s judging panel includes community members Kevin Schuh, Pets Lifeline Board President: Andriana Duckworth, Director of Member Relations & Sponsorships for Sonoma Valley Vintners & Growers Alliance; and Sue Smith of Sue Smith Photography. First, Second, and Third Place Pups will all take home a prize provided by Larson Family Winery. Parade and judging start at noon.

Guests are encouraged to make a morning tasting reservation to enjoy all the creative and kooky costumes in the parade. Contest is free to enter and entry forms are now available.
