Moment in The Sun: Ada Limón in Sonoma

U.S. Poet Laureate Ada Limón, in for the Sonoma Valley Authors Festival, was at Readers’ Books April 28 signing copies of her books. Limón, who grew up in Sonoma and was the first employee at the local bookstore, was just named Poet Laureate for a second term, an unprecedented appointment.
Pictured here with proprietor Andy Weinberger, the poet told The Sun she loves coming back to Sonoma. “Readers’” – where she worked from age 15 to 21– “is still my favorite bookstore.”
