Sonoma’s Mental Health Hub names clinical director

Hanna Center announced the selection of its new Clinical Director of the Community Mental Health Hub at Hanna, Noeli Cardenas Zamora, M.A. LMFT.

“Noeli’s extensive experience in many aspects of the mental health field and her deep commitment to helping those most vulnerable in our community are critical credentials for this role,” said Cameron Safarloo, CEO of Hanna Center.

Noeli earned her BA in Psychology from California State University, Sacramento, and her MA in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy and the Latino Population from Pepperdine University.

Her work experience includes positions in research and one-on-one children’s therapy with Creative Behavior Interventions in Irvine, bilingual MFT trainee, clinician, then assistant program director roles with the Child Guidance Center in San Clemente, and an adjunct faculty position with Pepperdine’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology while also serving as a contracted clinical supervisor with the Child Guidance Center.

As a licensed clinical supervisor, Noeli has overseen the administration of treatment programs that facilitate clinical services for at-risk children, families, and adults. She is a bilingual/bicultural provider with specialized training in the areas of trauma, grief and loss, behavioral analysis, intimate partner relations, and Latinx women.

Noeli has been a guest speaker in the areas of clinical treatment of children, professional development, and overcoming barriers to mental health recovery.

As the Clinical Director of the Hub, Noeli is responsible for overseeing the clinical and management responsibilities for the operations of the Community Mental Health Hub at Hanna.

“I am super excited to be back in my hometown of Sonoma County and I look forward to leading this talented and inspired team to best serve the residents of our community,” she said.
