Highway 12 reopens

A month-long closure of Highway 12 between Madrone Road and Aqua Caliente Boulevard is over. Repair work on the Hooker Creek Bridge, near Cavedale, is done, and traffic is completely open in both directions. The project involved completely replacing the 120-year-old structure, forcing a complete closure — and traffic jams of the rerouted cars on Arnold Drive.
