Volunteer Spotlight: Linda Odetto

Posted on February 4, 2024 by Sonoma Valley Sun

“I like to volunteer at Sonoma Community Center because it has a long history of community engagement,” says Linda Odetto. “I have always felt welcome here. There is a place for everyone, and it’s a great place to meet new people from all over Sonoma Valley.”

Odetto helps at the Center by volunteering at events such as summer concerts, Comedy Night, Muse, Chili Bowl and everything in between.

“Linda has a wealth of talent and expertise that she brings to all that she does,” says Vanessa Rognlien, executive director. “She readily jumps in, handles everything with a naturally calm and confident nature, and always has fun doing it. We are so grateful for her time and support.”

Mary Catherine Cutcliffe, development director, adds, “Linda handles herself like a pro. I love working with her as she provides great insights, organization, and always has a great sense of humor.”

It’s always fun, Odetto says, “and I’m always learning something new. Isn’t that the way volunteering should be?”
