Home prices in Sonoma County remain high
The latest market data from July on home prices in Sonoma County indicate that prices continue their upward trajectory. Despite higher interest rates, the prices for both Condos and Single Family homes remain high.
The median price for two bedrooms/two bath condos is $450,000; three bedroom/2-3 bath condos have a median price of $553,000.
Home show similar trends. A two bedroom/1-2 bath home has a median price of $717,500; a three bedroom/2-2.5 bath home $816,000. A four bedroom/3 bath home has a median price of $981,000, and a 5+ bedroom/4 bath home has a whopping median price of $2,245,000.
Square foot values have shown a similar rise since the mortgage crisis of 2008 when they were $200 per square foot compared with today at over $500.
Naturally, these are median figures, and a variety of factors affect individual home and condo prices.
