Teen culinary students showed their skills at the Sonoma City Party

Sonoma Valley Boys and Girls Club’s Teen Services recently shined a spotlight on their Lovin’ Oven Culinary Academy (LOCA) students as they showcased their skills in preparing Picnic Kits.

These kits marked a significant milestone as the first to be released under the LOCA Provisions brand.

According to Cary Snowden, CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Sonoma Valley, the Picnic Kits were a testament to the hard work and dedication of B&G Club students. They were auctioned off at the annual Cowboy Cab event earlier this year, an event which raised significant funds for their programs each year. The students and Erin, the LOCA Culinary Nutritionist, showed creativity, teamwork, and commitment to bringing the Picnic Kits to life. Their efforts made for an unforgettable experience at the Sonoma City Party, showcasing the best of LOCA Provisions. The LOCA program funding was a direct result of generous bidding by B&G Club’s supporters who “raised their paddles.”
