What is Happening at Sausage Emporium?
Sausage Emporium’s Miranda Ives teased us with an announcement of something new in the works, and now that we know what. Sausage Emporium will be no more, and a new restaurant run by the same people will take its place. The new name of the restaurant is Mozaik, and the concept is global flavors, crafted to bring together the diverse tastes and traditions from around the world. The focus will be on global cuisine and local ingredients, but more than that it will be a place to visit with friends and neighbors.
Miranda described the new restaurant, “Mozaik is more than just a restaurant; it’s a communal space where food enthusiasts can delve into and enjoy the diverse flavors of the world. Our menu is designed to cater to all tastes, whether you’re joining us for a sumptuous lunch, a relaxed brunch, or a captivating supper. ‘Experience Mozaik’s Unique Offerings’”
Mozaik will be open at the Sausage Emporium location 31 E Napa St, Sonoma, CA 95476 Thursdays through Mondays, with hours tailored to serve both lunch and dinner patrons. Lunch will be available from 11am to 3pm, with brunch exclusively on weekends from 10am to 3pm. Guests can also enjoy social hours from 3pm to 5pm, followed by supper service from 5pm to 9pm.
Miranda says the opening date is not decided, but it is weeks, not months.
