Vintage Festival finalizes entertainment line-up

The complete entertainment line up for the 110th Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival taking place September 28-30 has just been announced. Kicking off the weekend at the Friday night Patrons Night Gala will be Richard Olsen’s 10-piece big band swing orchestra. Four themed stages will host a variety of musical styles on Saturday and Sunday at this free event.
Saturday’s event showcases two stages – Latin Flavor and Country Swingin.’ Opening the Latin Flavor stage will be Los Califos, followed by Los Peones del Norte, David Correa and Cascada and Bautista. The Country Swingin’ stage starts with Jamie Clark and The Players, followed by The Whiskey Thieves, Tommy Thomsen and Wendy DeWitt with P.O.T. and finally Roy Rogers and the Delta Rhythm Kings.
Sunday’s action kicks into gear on the Strings stage with The David Thom Band, Rich Little on the Chapman Stick and Wayward Sway. The Mini Blues Fest stage starts with The Smokin’ Jaze, followed by The Hellhounds and The Tommy Castro Band.
“We’re trying to get people back out to the festival in a variety of ways,” said J.M. Berry, Vintage Festival board member and entertainment chair. “The musical talent we’ve put together this year has something for everyone.”
