The popular Picazo Cafe struck by fire, closed for now

The owners of Picazo Cafe, the popular eatery located on Arnold Drive at Grove Street, have announced that they are temporarily closed due to a fire.

“Unfortunately, we suffered a fire at our business today. Fortunately, everyone is safe but nevertheless the business that we have worked so hard to build over the last 15 years suffers a huge setback.  For all of you that know us you know this isn’t the last of us. In fact, we hope that by Saturday we might be able to serve you on our patio through our food truck.”

“We will have more news as soon as it develops. A long road ahead for us but in the meantime if we could request you share this to let everyone know that we might have setbacks in service, etc. that this is why. We appreciate everyone infinitely and hope to serve you all very soon.”

We heard the fire engines and never suspected the might be at the cafe. We had just had lunch there a few days earlier – as we do about once a week. So very glad to hear that this is a temporary setback. See you at the food truck!!
