Twenty-nine candidates are currently in the running for principal of Sonoma Valley High School. Of the candidates, 23 are male and six are female.
A broad spectrum of qualifications exists in the candidates: five are Ph.Ds; five are ED.Ds; 17 possess Masters Degrees; and there is one MBA and one BA. The experience level is also quite diverse including the following:

1 Executive administrator
2 Consultants
4 Current HS principals
9 Asstistant principals
1 Middle school principal
1 Corporate president/CEO
2 Teachers
1 Candidate whose experience is unknown
The paper screening process began this week. Once the review board selects candidates for the next round, interviews for those approved candidates will be held on February 18 with a recommendation brought before the board that evening.
