The Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival takes place September 28-30 in and around Sonoma’s historic Plaza. This year’s theme is “Celebrating Sonoma’s Heritage,” honoring the Valley’s rich history and culture.
If you or your nonprofit group are interested in having a food, game, or information booth at the Vintage Festival on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 29 and 30, please contact Nancy DiBella at nlfgd@aol.com, 707.996.1242 or 707.738.8049, or pick up an application at Sonoma Tops & Trophies, 18315 Hwy. 12, Sonoma.
The Vintage Festival does not allow duplication of foods or games. Organizations that are not nonprofit are welcome to have a booth but must donate a minimum of 40 percent to a local nonprofit.
There is a booth space fee for the two-day event. Food booths must meet all county health department rules, which are included in the application.
For arts and crafts exhibit requests, please contact Mara Roche at maracatlin@yahoo.com.
The Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival is celebrating its 110th year and is the second oldest festival in California, following the Rose Parade. It is free and open to the public. The nonprofit Vintage Festival is organized each year by a dedicated, all-volunteer board and benefits Sonoma Valley community projects and nonprofits. This year’s beneficiaries include Native Sons of the Golden West and Vineyard WorkersServices. For more information on the Vintage Festival, please visit www.sonomavinfest.org or contact the office at 707.996.2109.
