A proposed medical marijuana dispensary just outside Sonoma city limits at 19445 Riverside Drive will be discussed at two meetings, one this week and the other in November.
Creekside Medicinal Organics, owned by Northbay Wellness Clinic, has submitted a permit application to the county to operate the dispensary in the former Nicholas Turkey facility. At 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday October 24, Creekside will conduct a public information session at the site of the proposed dispensary.
That date is the regular meeting date (fourth Wednesday of the month) for the Sonoma Valley Citizens Advisory Commission, which had scheduled a public hearing for consideration of the Creekside application. The Commission last week delayed that hearing by three weeks, in order to avoid the scheduling conflict. It will now consider the marijuana dispensary proposal on Wednesday, November 14. That meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. and will be held at the Sonoma Fire Station, located at 630 Second St. West.
