Dollar Tree, the national discount store opening next month in Fiesta Plaza, has announced that Mary Quinn will be the new store manager. Quinn was with Wal-Mart for 14 years and will be relocating to Sonoma from Woodland. Candace King of Sonoma is assistant manager.
Quinn and King conducted a hiring blitz at the store last week, with the aim of hiring 40 new employees. “We’ve had a wonderful turnout, with a lot of diversity and bilingual applicants,” said Quinn, who estimated more than 100 people came in for interviews. Dollar Tree is expected to open Mar. 1.
