Woodland Star Charter School’s eighth annual fundraiser, “Stars in the Night” on March 8 at Cline Cellars will feature dinner, live entertainment and both live and silent auctions.
The prime lot will be an antique baby grand piano, designed by the famous Viennese piano master J. Wolpaterny. Valued at $12,000, the piano will go to the highest bidder and the proceeds shared with other elementary schools.
“We always take our highest-valued donation and auction it off during our live auction, with the proceeds being split among all seven schools in Sonoma,” said former fundraiser chair Mara Lee Ebert. “Stars in the Night” starts at 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 8.
