Sonoma Jazz + juggles its lineup

There’s gonna’ be some changes made, as the song goes, in the roster for the festival set for Memorial Day weekend. Kool and the Gang, Herbie Hancock, Diana Krall and Bonnie Raitt are all still on board.
Al Green, sometimes called the Reverend, sometimes simply the Legend, will open for Hancock on Friday, May 24 at the Field of Dreams. Perhaps he will perform his 70s hit, “Let’s Stay Together.”
Keb’ Mo’, who was slated to appear with Raitt, has backed out due to scheduling conflicts. Instead, Al Jarreau, an elegant jazz vocalist with seven Grammy awards, a master’s degree and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame to his credit, will open for Raitt on Sunday, May 25.
