Dozens of science-themed booths, demos and exhibits were available for exploring on Saturday when Infineon Raceway hosted Discovery Day, part of the Bay Area Science Festival, held in various locations around the Bay. According to Infineon staff, more than 3,000 kids, adults and all-around science buffs turned out to handle bugs, make space ice cream and elephant toothpaste, look through microscopes, pilot robots, battle Lego creations and much more. Designed to introduce children and adults to the world of science, the exhibits were guided by some of the North Bay’s top scientists, engineers, innovators and entrepreneurs.
Science anyone?
