Tickets on sale for indie rock at GunBun

Maria Taylor & Johnathan Rice will perform at the first ever Summer Indie Concert on July 12 at Gundlach Bundschu Winery. Nik Freitas will be the opening act.
Guests will be able to enjoy the concert under the stars in the winery’s Outside Ampitheatre. The concert goers are also encouraged to bring beach chairs or blankets, along with warm clothes and picnic dinners.
Taylor is originally from Birmingham, Ala. and has been making music since she was a child. She has been in many bands over the years and had a critically acclaimed album with 2007’s “Teeter Flower.”
Rice grew up in Virginia and has a style that is addictively eclectic. After releasing his first album, “Trouble is Real,” at 19 years of age, he followed his debut with the 2007 album “Further North.”
Frietas has released a few albums over the last six years, including his most recent release, “Voicing the Hammers.” He hails from central California.
The doors will open at 6 p.m. before Frietas starts the concert at 7 p.m. Tickets for the event are $15 each in advance of the show and $20 at the door. For information, call 707.939.3019, or e-mail megan@gunbun.com.
