Guitarist Pat Metheny in “The Orchestrion Project” will be featured in a one-time only special screening at the Sebastiani Theatre on Sunday, October 7.
The concert was filmed by Grammy and Emmy Award winning directors Pierre and Francois Lamoureaux at the former Saint Elias Church in Brooklyn. Based on a childhood fascination with his grandfather’s player piano, Methany, a 19-time Grammy Award created “The Orchestrion,” a mechanically controlled mini-orchestra capable of responding to his touch on the guitar.
