Rolling in it

A photograph of a Cuban cigar factory is among the works in “Revolutionary Island: Tales of Cuban History and Culture, The Sarah & Darius Anderson Collection,” the exhibition currently at the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art. “A culture is expressed through its art,” said Kate Eilertsen, the museum’s executive director. “The works in this exhibition provide a profound and realistic assessment of revolutionary to present-day Cuba.”

Included are paintings, sculpture, historic documents and yes, a military tank. The museum, located at 551 Broadway, is open Wednesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults. Children k-12 are admitted free, as are museum members. 939.7862. Svma.org
