The Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival is sponsoring its Annual Amateur Wine Makers Competition in conjunction with its 111th Vintage Festival. Deadline for all entries is Aug. 26.
All wines should be dropped off at the Wine Exchange no later than Aug. 26. Each wine must be properly labeled and accompanied by a completed entry form and all appropriate fees.
According to Paula Vinson, chairperson of community events for the 111th Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival “The host for this year’s contest is Gundlach Bundschu Winery. We thank them for their gracious donation of their facility for this superior event. Judging will be conducted in all varietal categories including an award for the best wine label.”
Entry forms can be downloaded from the Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival Website, www.sonomavinfest.org or by obtaining an application form at the Wine Exchange on the Plaza or by calling Paula Vinson directly for information or faxed forms at 707.996.6881.
