A public open house and community education registration day will be held at Sonoma Valley Adult School, 20000 Broadway, on Saturday, Jan. 17 from noon to 2 p.m. Come by and register for classes, see displays of class work, have refreshments and meet and speak with teachers. Computer, business and career classes fill up quickly. Sign up by Jan. 17 and receive a $5 discount on Community Education Classes. Some classes will begin the week of Jan. 19.
New classes of interest are QuickBooks Pro, Open Source Software, Retired-Reinspired, Becoming a Notary Public, Real Estate Rescue for Owners in Distress, Backyard Chicken Keeping 101, Yoga: The Ashram Way and Taking Charge of Your Blood Pressure.
