Downtown Sonoma has a new tasting room open for business: Sonoma-Loeb.
Located in the former Envolve Winery tasting room in Wine Alley, the tasting room will host an Open House Celebration on Saturday.
Sonoma-Loeb was founded in 1973 by John L. Loeb, Jr., who served as United States Ambassador to Denmark in the 1980s. In 2011, it was acquired by Chappellet Vineyard & Winery.
This is the first tasting room for Sonoma-Loeb, which produces Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs from Sangiacomo Vineyards and Dutton Ranch.
Sonoma-Loeb will offer complimentary tastings of their wines for the Open House Celebration, including wine pairings with light bites from Delhi Belly Indian Bistro. The Open House Celebration is from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 14.
Additionally, the tasting room is open from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Thursdays-Monday. Sonoma-Loeb’s new tasting room is located in Wine Alley in downtown Sonoma at 27. E. Napa St., Suite A. 934-8363, sonoma-loeb.com.
