Denise Noel Weatherwax, proprietor, has announced the relocation of The Beauty Sanctuary Day Spa to Jack London Village on Arnold Drive in Glen Ellen.
A champagne reception will be held on Saturday, Dec. 9 from 1 to 5 p.m. during the Jack London Village Holiday Toy Drive.
The Beauty Sanctuary Day Spa was previously located in the heart of downtown Glen Ellen.
“I purposely chose to relocate the Beauty Sanctuary into a more historical, picturesque and pastoral setting. The word sanctuary means a sacred place, a place of refuge. The Beauty Sanctuary represents a more holistic approach toward a loving and comfortable and healing environment. The pastoral setting of Jack London Village and our location facing the lush foliage along the creek is perfect,” Weatherwax said.
Over the last three months. the day spa has been under construction remodeling the existing space into a unique environment.
“The décor is sort of General Vallejo meets Ali Baba with a mystic garden feel!” Weatherwax said with an amused twinkle in her eye. “Come and see for yourself!”
The Beauty Sanctuary specializes in natural nail care, nurturing massage, spa services and products. The spa offers an array of nail care treatments – a simple polish change, express spa or deluxe manicures and pedicures, as well as a unique reflexology pedicure or a full revitalizing pedicure. Denise, who’s also a certified massage therapist, has been a licensed manicurist for 20 years, working in such prestigious spas as the Sonoma Mission Inn, where she was lead manicurist, to opening the salon at Silverado Resort in Napa where she set protocols, purchased supplies and trained the staff. Weatherwax brings vast knowledge, expertise and healing to The Beauty Sanctuary Day Spa which she opened nearly four years ago.
“The Beauty Sanctuary also offers men’s services including manicure and pedicure treatments, massage and waxing all created with the gentlemen in mind,” Weatherwax said. “In addition, we offer bridal and private spa parties at The Beauty Sanctuary, all custom designed to our clients needs and requests.”
