The Sonoma Valley Education Foundation reports contributions from the sale of olive oil continue to grow. Money raised from the sale of Sonoma Valley Extra Virgin Olive Oil will be used to support local art programs for students K through 12.
The olive oil fundraising campaign is spearheaded by Gary Edwards of Sage Marketing.
“It’s a tremendous thing Gary is doing,” said Tim Boeve, executive director of the Sonoma Valley Education Foundation. “We’ve already received checks from the olive oil campaign and apparently more money is on the way.”
According to Boeve, the campaign has the potential to raise $14,000 to support a variety of arts education from music, dance and drama to arts and crafts.
The olive oil sells for $20 per bottle and is made from Viansa Winery olives crushed at the Olive Press. Bottles can be purchased at the Sonoma Valley Education Foundation headquarters on Broadway or Sage Marketing on First Street East.
For more information contact Sage Marketing at 707.939.9394.
Olive oil contributions could exceed $10,000
