Historic Parks lead parade of July 4 winners

The group of children and adults dressed in period clothing representative of Sonoma’s past won the Grand Prize at the July 4 downtown parade. The Sonoma/Petaluma State Historic Parks entry was voted the best entry of all and also was awarded first place in the Theme category, according to the nine judges who assessed the parade. Here is the full list of parade winners:
