Elizabeth Koehler
Elizabeth M. Koehler, age 82, died Nov. 29, 2007 in Sonoma. Born Jan.18,1925 in San Francisco, Elizabeth was the wife of Robert Koehler of Sonoma; daughter of the late Aloysius and Katherine (Reidy) Conroy; sister of Eileen Griffin of San Jose and the late John Conroy; mother of Julie Ross of Santa Rosa, Richard Koehler of Manhattan Beach, Robert (Nancy) Koehler of Kirkland, Wash, Joseph (Kathleen) Koehler of Suisun, Mary (David) Montijo of Penngrove and James Koehler of San Francisco. She was pre-deceased by sons Michael Koehler and Aloysius Koehler. Grandmother of twelve: Shawn, Jesse, Lea, Monica, Robert, Andrew, Erin, Betsy, Victoria, Catherine, Anthony and Maria Angelina. Great grandmother of five: Tia, Teresa, Evan, John, and one soon-to-be.
Elizabeth retired from the Sonoma County Library after many years of service. She was an alumna of the College of Notre Dame in Belmont and attended the University of California at Berkeley.
A vigil was held at Duggan’s Mission Chapel, 525 W. Napa St., Sonoma, on Sunday Dec. 2. Funeral Mass was at St. Francis Solano Church, West Napa Street and Third Street West, Sonoma, on Monday Dec. 3. Private interment at Sacramento Valley VA National Cemetery, Dixon.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested for Hanna Boys Center, 17000 Arnold Drive, Sonoma or for Medical Missionaries of Mary Inc., 179 Highland Avenue, Somerville, Mass. 02143.

Aileen Layne Webb, M.D. (retired), age 89, died November 21, 2007.
A memorial service will be held for Aileen at the Oakmont Golf Club, 7035 Oakmont Drive in Santa Rosa, at 11 a.m., on Saturday, December 8, 2007 at 11 a.m.
