A large party was the scene of a non-fatal shooting in El Verano, early Saturday morning. At approximately 12:03 a.m., the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Department Dispatch Center received multiple calls reporting gunshots being fired in the 400 block of Verano Ave., just outside the city limits.
After several calls to the Sheriff’s Dept., deputies located the victim, whose name has not been released to the media, at the party. The extent of his injuries was also not released, however, he was transported via ambulance to a hospital and later released.
After numerous interviews with witnesses were conducted and the crime scene was processed by Investigators of the Violent Crimes Unit in conjunction with Crime Scene Investigators who responded to the scene, Julian Arrospide, age 49 and Jonathan Arrospide, age 21, both of El Verano, were arrested.
Julian Arrospide was arrested for accessory to attempted murder. Jonathan Arrospide was arrested for attempted murder. Both suspects were booked on the abovementioned charges at the Sonoma County Main Adult Detention Facility.
