The Sonoma County Regional Parks announced this week that its campgrounds can now be reserved via a new website, available “24/7” for choosing favorite campsites. Reservations are taken up to a year in advance.
The five campgrounds operated by the county are Gualala Point and Stillwater Cove, located on Sonoma County’s north coast, Doran and Westside in Bodega Bay, and Spring Lake, located closest to Sonoma in Santa Rosa. The 320-acre Spring Lake Park features camping, hiking, bicycling, swimming in a 3-acre lagoon, and boating and fishing on the 72-acre lake.
The camping reservation website is found at www.sonoma-county.org/camping. It features photographs, detailed campsite descriptions, and interactive site maps to check date availability.
Campers may reserve up to two campsites per stay at any one park by establishing a household e-mail account. Payment transactions can be processed online, too.
