A small blaze at the Kenwood Inn and Spa caused smoke and but no injuries Thursday afternoon.
Kenwood fire Capt. Daren Bellach said the blaze, which broke out around 5 p.m., was confined to a second-story balcony inside the main courtyard.
“It was a little fire inside a wall, and it’s still under investigation,” Bellach said Friday morning. He said there was no damage estimate.
A combined force of four engines from the Kenwood and Glen Ellen fire departments knocked down the flames within minutes, remaining on scene for an hour before being released.
