Maintenance scheduled for phones in County offices

In the early morning hours of April 23, a scheduled maintenance project will briefly take the telephones in Sonoma County government offices out of service. Emergency calls to 911 will not be affected. The project was deliberately scheduled for 4:30 a.m. to minimize the impact to the County’s residents.

The project is scheduled from 4:30 to 5:30 a.m. on April 23. The actual time of phone service interruption is expected to be about 15 minutes at some point during that hour. While the work is being performed, calls to county offices will not go through.

The project will affect all county departments, including Sheriff’s non-emergency phone lines. However, the maintenance will not impact the County’s 911 emergency telephone system.
