According to the Mendocino County Sheriff’s department, Molly Donovan, 21, of South Lake Tahoe was found dead at the Reggae Rising Music Festival this past weekend. Donovan’s parents live in Glen Ellen.
Responding to a call of an unresponsive woman at 12:05 a.m. on Monday, August 3, Lieutenant Rusty Noe said his deputies found the young woman dead upon their arrival.
An investigation as to the cause of death is underway but, according to Noe, will take between three to four weeks for toxicology results.
The Reggae Rising concert is in its third year. The sold-out show features three days of reggae and music on the Dimmick Ranch in Piercy, Calif., Northern Mendocino County.
