Stephen Dale, the executive director of La Luz/Vineyard Workers Services, will step out of that job and into the role of development director. Yvonne Hall, vice president of the nonprofit’s board of directors, will act as interim executive director until a permanent replacement can be found.
The non-profit organization, based in Boyes Hot Springs, supports immigrants to the Valley with educational and social services.
The move puts Dale on the front lines of fundraising, a function at which he excels and is most needed, according to a board member.
