The suspense, if there was any, is over, and the lineup for the B.R. Cohn music festival is set. Confirmed for the opening night concert are The Doobie Brothers, the event’s perennial headliners who had been suspiciously absent from the weekend of old-school rock.
Bruce Cohn announced the Doobies would return for the 24th annual festival. He also introduced a special 15 percent discount on ticket purchases of six or more for either day of the event, Oct. 9 or 10. Special 2-day tickets are also available for a reduced price of $160. The direct concert line is 931-7927.
The shows are now set. Performing on Saturday, October 9 will be: Doobie Brothers, Cheap Trick, Grand Funk Railroad, War, Turtles, Lara Johnston and Pat Simmons Jr.
Appearing on Sunday, October 10 will be: Eddie Money, Loverboy, Night Ranger, Greg Kihn Band, The Turtles and the Eyewitness Blues Band
