Third year filmmaking student Ghitta Ferrara brought together camera and crew last weekend for a first-rate movie making experience. The Sonoma Valley High School junior was granted access to the Swiss Hotel’s back lot for the setting of her movie, “There is No Such Thing as Magic.” Ferrara was joined by costumed cast members as well as a magician or two as she created a scene from the movie where magic and a young girl’s skepticism collide. Ferrara’s film will be featured during April’s Sonoma Valley International Film Festival. Shown here, from left to right are Peter Sours, Collin Wilson, Anthony Ferrara, Ghitta Ferrara, Sophie Howard, Valerie Barreto, Molly Lobsinger. Pictured in front is Hannah Matcham.
