The Sonoma Community Center launches its new family-friendly “Puppet Playhouse” series on Sunday, Jan. 8 with “WaterWorks,” a show from Images in Motion, whose partners, Lee Armstrong and Kamala Portuges, design and build puppets in their Boyes Hot Springs workshop/studio.
For the 1:30 p.m. show, they will employ a variety of rod, shadow and hand puppets to tell the delightful story of a boy and a duck splashing their way through the seasons. The series continues with a new production on the first Sunday of each month, through May. $9-$10 per show, $45 for series. 938-4626 x1. Sonomacommunitycenter.org.
