In keeping with its mission to identify, preserve and promote the historic architectural character of the City of Sonoma, the Sonoma League for Historic Preservation seeks nominations for its 35th Annual Preservation Awards. Adrian Martinez, Ginny Richardson, Suzanne Brangham and Barbara White Perry are among league members looking to honor architectural preservation and restoration projects. Nominations are due by September 14 in three categories: restoration projects; adaptive reuse; and creative design of historic sites and new construction compatible with the historic character of the area. In addition to projects, nominations will be accepted for individuals who have made significant contributions to further historic preservation and craftsmanship.
