Shakespeare Company wraps up season

Sharon Combs and Chad Bradford are among the Sonoma Valley Shakespeare Company players in “As You Like it,” one of three productions in the troupe’s debut repertory season.

Founded by Artistic Director Aidan O’Reilly, a Sonoma native and graduate of London’s Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, the company is in residence at the Little Theatre on the campus of Sonoma Valley High School. “Doctor Faustus,” the unsettling man-sells-soul-to-the-Devil story written by Christopher Marlowe some 500 years ago, plays at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 27, and Thursday, Nov. 1.

]“Julius Caesar,” always timely but particularly so in an election year, closes on Friday, Nov. 2. The season closes Nov. 3 with the last production of “As You Like It.” All shows are at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for students, $15 for adults, and available at the door.
