Sonoma County’s annual Dining Out for Life takes place Thursday, December 3.
Simply eat out at one of these local restaurants and between 25% to 50% of your bill will be donated to Food for Thought.
Founded in 1988, the Forestville-based Food for Thought provides free weekly grocery bags of non-perisihable and fresh food, nutritional supplements, vitamins, and more for those living in our county living with AIDS/HIV.
They serve over 675 individuals in our community annually – men, women and their children. More than 1/3 of the folks they help require delivery services, as they are too ill or lack the transportation required to pick up food and supplies at Food for Thought’s headquarters.
All day on December 3 you can dine at the following Sonoma restaurants (no restaurants in Kenwood or Glen Ellen are participating in the program, this year) and support this organization:
- HopMonk Tavern (691 Broadway; 935-9100; hopmonk.com)
- Mamma Tanino’s Ristorante (500 W. Napa St, #512; 933-8826; mammataninos.com)
- Maya Restaurant (101 E. Napa St.; 935-3500; mayarestaurant.com)
