In November, a group of Sonoma Valley Sherpas became the new owners of the legendary La Casa Restaurant.
The Mexican restaurant opened in 1967, and remains one of the Valley’s oldest continuously operated restaurants.
What makes it the best takeover?
They gave the old dark bar a well-deserved makeover, have brought in better quality meats and veggies (you really can taste the difference), and continued to retain the hard working, friendly staff that has made it one of the most successful family-friendly restaurants in the area. Next up, a major patio renovation (one of the best kept secret patios in the area).
Oh, and they have an awesome happy hour, make a mean margarita (I’m a Coat Rack fan) and the burger is one of the best kept secrets in the Valley. 121 E. Spain St., Sonoma | 996-3406 | lacasarestaurant.com
