There is one dessert that I dream about in Sonoma Valley on a weekly basis: Cafe La Haye’s (140 E. Napa St., Sonoma | 935-5994 | cafelahaye.com) butterscotch pudding.
It’s sweet, salty, and is the “icing on the cake” (or pudding?) after a fabulous dinner.
For $8 you get a well sized portioned of butterscotch heaven with freshly whipped cream on top. Enjoy it with a nice Chardonnay or Port, selected by owner Saul Gropman.
If you don’t like, I’ll eat yours.
