Gloria Ferrer Caves & Vineyards has launched its second annual nationwide Glorious Bites contest to find the “most glorious appetizer recipe in the country.”

Submissions are accepted online from now until August 31, 2016. Recipes are reviewed based on originality and if the recipe will pair with Gloria Ferrer’s Sonoma Brut.

Reviewers will select 18 semi-finalists to participate in regional events in Los Angeles, Washington, DC, and Austin, Texas. The winner of each regional event will move onto the finals at Gloria Ferrer in Sonoma in October. The winner will receive $5,000.

Last year, Donna Wolfe of Hamilton, New Jersey, won the competition with her fried lobster and goat cheese stuffed zucchini blossoms with sweet Thai chili dipping sauce (pictured). Find her recipe here.

Learn more about the contest and submit your recipe at gloriousbites.com.
