The hauntingly elaborate decorations on Orange Avenue keep getting bigger — and scarier — every year, thanks to Renee Montalbano, husband Justin Montalbano and son Mason. “I don’t know if it was the addition of the 12-foot skeleton or the man-eating plant, but it’s like I switch into mad scientist mode and want to create displays that are bigger and better, “ says Renee.
“I change or add something new almost every day.” The display spans a quarter-of-acre at 19075 Orange Ave, near Grove. Renee’s family welcomes walk-throughs on Saturdays in October from 7-9 p.m. and of course Halloween night.
