At its meeting of December 7, 2022, the community said goodbye to outgoing Sonoma City Council members Vice-Mayor Kelso Barnett, Councilman Robert Felder and Councilwoman Madolyn Agrimonti and welcomed its new council members, Patricia Farrar Rivas, John Gurney and Ron Wellander.
After the three newly elected took their oaths of office, the reconstituted council then elected Sandra Lowe as its Mayor and John Gurney as its Vice-Mayor for the upcoming year.
