The City of Sonoma invites the public for a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community at Sonoma Valley Pride! May 30, at Sonoma City Hall at 5PM
This event will feature speakers and the placing of the annual Pride flag display at Sonoma City Hall, followed by a pride walk around the Plaza Park and a reception at the Sunflower Caffé (map it).
Speakers Include:
- Gary Saperstein, Owner of Out in the Vineyard
- John Gurney, Mayor of the City of Sonoma
- Dr. Jeanette Rodriguez-Chien, Sonoma Valley Unified School District Superintendent
- Brandon Cutting, Chief of Sonoma Police Department
- Reverend Curran Reichert, First Congregational Church of Sonoma
- Honey Mahogany, Director of the San Francisco Office of Transgender Initiatives
Sonoma Valley Pride is a family-friendly event and welcomes people of all ages, backgrounds, and orientations. There is no cost to participate in or attend the program, walk, or reception. Reception is sponsored by the City of Sonoma and Sparc, with wine provided by Corner 103 and Passaggio Wines.
