According to the rain gauge at Second Street East and Napa Street, the recent storm dropped over seven inches of rain. Before the storm, we’d received 1.22 inches of rain this season, and now the total is 8.75 inches. Gratefully, no terrible flooding happened here, and perhaps just as important, we seem to have avoided any serious fires for the second year in a row. If ever a rainbow was is order, it’s today.
