IOLERO, the County of Sonoma’s Independent Office of Law Enforcement Review and Outreach, has partnered with Sonoma State University on a Community Policing project to better understand the perspectives of Sonoma County residents and the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office regarding community-oriented policing practices.
They have announced the launch of the Community Oriented Policing survey and need the public’s help to maximize participation.
The survey does not ask for any personal information, and no one will know participant’s names. Participation is completely voluntary. The decision to participate or not will not affect relationships with Sonoma State University. Participants can skip any question or stop at any time without any consequences. No IP addresses will be collected. After the anonymous data are downloaded via a secure encryption process (and deleted from the QUALTRICS service), they will be kept on a password protected computer that requires dual authentication authorized by SSU for at least five years.
