The Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley will hold the seventh annual Fashion in the Vineyards show at Sonoma Mission Inn, on Thursday, September 17 starting at 5:30 p.m.
Fashion in the Vineyards benefits the Valley’s Boys & Girls Clubs. At the event, glamorous models will make their way down an elevated catwalk wearing elegant fashions provided by Bay Area fashion industry icon Helen Lyall. The Boys & Girls Club members fashion show will feature clothing provided by Kohl’s Department Store.
This is an event for both men and women and guests can view the latest fashions while enjoying lots of hors d’oeuvres and beverages. The food and wine is being provided by Arrowood Winery, Atmosphere, and Gundlach Bundschu Winery. The event will also feature a silent and live auction as well as a fund-a-need to support the Club’s after-school programs.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley is the only multi-location youth facility offering after-school education and development programs to over 2,000 Sonoma Valley youth annually. Since 1962, the Boys & Girls Clubs has provided a means for parents who live and work in and around Sonoma Valley to ensure their children engage in meaningful and constructive activities during the critical after-school hours between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., and all day during the summer months and school holidays.
The Club serves approximately 40 percent of the total youth population in Sonoma, ages six through 18, with a daily attendance of more than 400 children.
