An electrical fire destroyed one of four units in an Arnold Drive apartment building early Tuesday. The structure’s thick stone walls kept the fire from spreading, said one resident. Engineers and PG & E crews checked the structure, near Boyes Boulevard, on Wednesday and the remaining units were sprayed to tamper the smell of smoke. Displaced residents were told they could move back in today, though power will not be available for some time. The fire caused an estimated $100,000 in damage, a department official said.
